OMG I am this way often, especially when I conquer something or solve a considerable problem. Unfortunately don't have much of an outlet so no I don't think anything is wrong with this. We are made to connect, to share. And no, it isn't wrong to want an applause. It doesn't mean you'll go psycho if you don't get it or go in the corner and feel useless - because you did accomplish something great. Nothing can take that away but it's more fun to have someone else celebrate with you!

@neoalphamtx That's true. Thank you for putting it this way. I agree, I think it's more about celebrating with someone else, as opposed to "needing" the recognition.

@wtfgirl001 Yes, it is difficult when you don't have this in your relationships because it just doesn't mean as much if you can't share. Make sure you get this, even if it is with a coworker, it feeds your confidence and self-worth
