The redifining of language for political purposes

I googled 'fuhrer' and i got an immediate dictionary pop up result defining it as something like 'a ruthless dictator'

No, 'fuhrer' translates as 'guide'. To this day, if you have a mountain guide take you walking up a mountain in germany, they would be called a 'bergsfuhrer'.

I dont know why new definitions need making up. A word has a meaning and thats it, thats its meaning.

Any language that doesn't evolve is dead. End of story. I'm sorry you don't like the fact that führer has been redefined. Maybe you should find the bones of Adolf Hitler and take it up with them.

@LordShadowfire Ahhhhhhhctually, that's something I don't like about the change of that word, in particular. I feel like there is some racism against Germans there.
But I do agree that definitions and grammar do change with time.

@BohemianBabe I don't know. I've got some German blood, and I kind of understand the reasoning. Hitler insisted on owning that title, so it's going to be a while before it's okay to use it again you know their countries.

@LordShadowfire Yeah, I get how for people who don't speak German, they only know that word from Hitler. Whereas in German, it's not taboo at all. It just means "leader."
Still, I make sure not to use that word in the English-speaking Nazi context.

@BohemianBabe the Romans aka white people (Esau) sacked the second temple of Jerusalem. Since then, rabbis hated white people and they literally put into their religion that if Esau gets stronger, Jacob/Israel gets weaker and vice versa. Germany, when Hitler started to rebuild it was then seen as Esau and Judaea declared war on it. It’s literally written in their scripture thousands of years ago that ‘Germamya of Edom, as if they would go out they would destroy the whole world’ which means if you know the terminology (which I do) ‘One day a nation called Germany with a Christian majority will try and take over the world’.

They also believe that Esau will build up his kingdom (in this case Germany) and then Jacob (jews) will then subvert Esau’s creation and use it as his own. (So sort of how hitler complained that powerful Jews were in prominent positions speaking for Germany but without actually caring for the German people) They also believe that Jehovah would not grant them Israel until 6,000,000 go through a burnt sacrifice offering which is why this number kept coming up prior to Hitlers rise.
