how can i be strong tomorrow when i see my gp

i have a really nice doctor fortunately, but i'm going to see him tomorrow because there was a problem which cropped up with my ECG which i had done twice on separate occasions....so i'm really scared and nervous what might be wrong with my heart........and i suffer with an anxiety disorder anyhow and a personality disorder, so i know my anxiety doesn't help matters, even though i can't help getting high anxiety.

so i'm just wondering what will happen tomorrow when i go see my gp? i pride myself on being mentally strong, through all my challenges but sometimes it is hard to be strong than other times, especially times like tomorrow.

is anyone else have health challenges right now and how do you keep strong through it?

I get very high anxiety in doctors offices. Especially when they take blood pressure. I mean my heart races so much it's off the chart for a pressure reading. I told my doctor she only gets an accurate reading if she keeps talking to me, and doesn't announce taking the BP. It helps it go way down!! But I've had an EKG once when it was a high pressure reading, and due to anxiety during the EKG, THAT came out skewed too. So I knew that it was a bit off BECAUSE of my anxiety. SO Just ask your doctor could the EKG be off because of your anxiety during the procedure.

@Coralmist thanks, i thought it was due to my high anxiety levels too, it can affect the readings.
