I Selfharm

Control.

Thats how it all starts. You convince yourself that it will never get too bad. You convince yourself that you won’t let it control the aspects of your life. But what no one will tell you- control is just a fantasy.

Because I promise you one cut will become five. Straight lines will become crooked, and soon you will be washing away the blood on your clothes from cuts that never seem to heal.

The cuts on the side of your hip will spread like a disease across your thighs wrists. Finding pleasure in in pressing the blade across clean skin. Untouched…But not for long. Your life will start revolving on hiding blades and wearing long sleeves. You will lose control.

Weeks you will go without hurting yourself, but than the pain. It gets too much and you succumb to the devil. You succumb to killing yourself painfully. You succumb to coping the only way you know how.

I know this is old.... But...I'mnot sure if you're still self harmin.

Imagine a painting on display in a museum. It was made by a well-known artist hundreds of years ago. People travel from other countries to admire the artists painting. It's so priceless, it's guarded.

Now imagine someone with a knife running by the painting at slashing it.
A masterpiece permanently damaged. People are appalled and saddened.

You are so much more valuable than any painting.

Stay strong.... Stay beautiful. 😕
