I backed up all my data from my phone to my computer, when I went to it "messages, contacts, Cal log" it's all in some weird code like Chinese or something. How do I remove that so I can see my stuff

@plungesponge: I saved from phone to computer, I no longer have the phone but I saw online that I can use the kies extractor to get the data, but I broke the phone, but it don't say anything about opening it online

ah ok, so you're opening the file on your computer. What is the extension of the file? What is the type of file listed in Explorer?
