unable to log out nor delete a facebook page

I am in twice. Two different names. The one I want to keep has my middle initial. I have struggled, gone through all the clicks to deactivate the original, and the it still remains. Rebooting as well and it still is there. Has anyone else been able to deactivate or remove a name. Yes I have the pass word. I cannot kill it. Am I stuck with two forever? I have all 4 steps steps written down. Can't reach F.B. to do this for me.

You can permanently delete a page you don't want. Google it and it should have the link. I had to do that once.

I have followed the 4 steps to deactivate and it doesn't work. The task should be simple, but not for me.
