a question for boat people.

why is this yacht so cheap compaired to others in the same size catagory. is it because its wood? i have more money set aside than this to spend on one. im just learning what to look out for though. seems like a massive baragin to me. but again i have no rel clue about boats. thanks in advance for any advice.

Well it's old. It could have issues and or problems and need repairs and updates that's why. I guess idk (just guessing obviously) my dad has sailboats but are small ones..

Actually my dad has one almost exactly like that if not exactly like.. I think it's an accurate post.. It's just expensive to keep a boat Like docking fees and other expenses and such and it sounds as if they don't use it enough to bother with it anymore

Idk my dad bought his years ago.. Actually someone stole one of the main sails from it while it was sitting in the storage lot when he went to buy it :/

@SuicideScout: it's not a cheeky question I just don't actually know.. He got it for cheap and had to do engine work on it and it's not in as good condition as that one is

yeah i hate theives too. scrounging filthy little scum bags. stealing from people anyways. i dont mind so much the ones that rob from supermarkets and big stores but stealing from a person is just low.
