Can I tell my shrink about my drug use?

I have a great psychiatrist, who seems to be very serious about maintaining confidentiality. She has not told my parents anything as far as I know, and I have told her some intimate stuff (like my depression) so can I tell her about my drug use? Would she tell my parents if she knew I was drinking and getting stoned?

You're treating me like an idiot and calling me a fag, fuck you kid I was actually going to try to help you, I'm a lot more experienced with life than you, I've dealt with psychiatrists, I've been through severe depression, I have a form of autism, and personality disorder. I have had bad drinking problems and other things.. But if you are going to treat me like that I damn well hope you end up slitting your wrists and hanging yourself like I did. Best of luck succeeding with that last part, you deserve it.
