I look at the group's spot every once in a while but never really see anything I am not already a part of that I relate to. It doesn't really refresh very well. I wish we could still make new groups!

There's no weightlifting group!!
False.

@AcidBurn: I meant actual weightlifting - Olympic weightlifting - you know; snatching, clean and jerk. Not weight training.
Weightlifting is in the name of three different groups.

But it's not weightlifting they're referring to. They're referring to weight training like a misnomer.
How is a group named "I like weightlifting" not referring to weightlifting?

This is exactly why they don't let people create groups. All it does is create tons of duplicates, like it did on ep.

@AcidBurn: because weightlifting is about power and strength. There's no bicep curling involved. It's training for snatch and the lean and jerk and assistance lifts to supplant those two. People too often get weightlifting confused with weight training - weight training being something much more similar and comparable to bodybuilding. Those are often the same people that get powerlifting and weightlifting confused when they're all different disciplines.
@ShadowShifter: You still haven't answered my question. What about "I like weightlifting" excludes weightlifting? It specifically says weightlifting, not weight training. The difference between weightlifting and weight training is completely irrelevant when the group is titled "I like weightlifting".
You are the only one talking about weight training.

@AcidBurn: because it has a picture of a woman doing a bicep curl when weightlifters don't do bicep curls as part of their training. In no way do those help for the competition lifts.

Which of those is a woman doing bicep curls?

What?!? How come when I searched for the exact same thing earlier, I got completely different results? Ah screw me.
I was trying to figure out why it seemed like we were talking about two different things lol

Hopefully one of those works for you :)

Well, the one at the bottom worked XD but I guess not a lot of people on here are very athletically inclined in general. Thanks though.
