When you are feeling depressed, how do you get out of it?

I've been having the worst few months of my life so far.

I change something. If I can get to the root of it, something has to be let go. I am relentless with self-care and when I have days I can't do anything I rest in my shell and try not to feel bad about it. I continue to nourish myself in ways that will increase strength and health. I look at myself like I were my own nurse and finally someone is going to take care of me.
