When you are feeling depressed, how do you get out of it?

I've been having the worst few months of my life so far.

Perspective is Everything. I have to remind myself I have skills and habits I previously used to handle stressful and depressive states. Books, Friends, Family and my dogs. They Help, for the really bad times, finding someone to confide in about all my issues. My therapist. It works, provided, like anything, you put in the time to work at it.

thanks for the awesome answer. I wish I had dogs for when I'm sad and my husband is sleeping.
