Do people come to you for advice?

Younger people tend to come to me for advice. I do my best to listen to them carefully and advise them as best I can.

I feel it's my duty because I don't want them to make the mistakes I made.

They do actually and I do my best to assist them.

Mostly people just want someone to listen and be sympathetic. I've gone through phases of "I'm never giving advice again" to being a dad. I still give advice but I try to temper it with being kind and knowing the asker probably already has an answer.

They DO come to me for advice. It's always flattering.

Dad does, 97% of the time i'm brutally honest with him with a curt i dunno, gets on his nerves so 3% of the time i take a guess.

Simple.....just double the oral, add a new toy, and enjoy the fun :D
