M.E Thomas: I once read an article that was against having giant prison systems and just imprisoning such a high percentage of the population, which I think a lot of people agree with. But she said in the article that you have to be okay with letting people move on from the bad things they did. Not all those people are innocent; many of them have done a bad thing. But can you allow people to be dynamic and change from day to day, or do you impose this standard that you can never live something down?
