What happens to atheists when they die ?

So Jesus is a superstition & a myth? But if I was an atheist, satanist, etc you wouldn't be calling that a myth. God's word will never change. What do you think Atheism is based off of? Man-made heresies. Only God & His word is the truth. If you not a Christian that's fine but I believe what I believe & vice versa. We all will meet God eventually.

@GoldenWorm: It isn't that...it's like this if you reject Jesus, then you're rejecting God the Father & Heaven. So God will respect your choice but you will be separated from Him forever because of YOUR choice. He can't do anything but give you what you want. It really isn't hard to get to Heaven so many people make it harder than it has to be,they lack understanding of God & His word.

@PrettyGurl22: You got this out of a book. A collection of mythology, laws, poetry, questionable history, and letters. Fascinating, but ancient writings of a primitive patriarchal and warlike people. It's scary to think that people can be so overwhelmed by an old book that they would reject logic and rationality.

As someone who isn't in a religion, there's similar arguments from the Muslims, the Scientologists, the Mormons, etc. There's probably all sorts of harm claimed for living in avidya (bhuddist delusions). Why should I choose to follow any culture's mythology?

Science, on the other hand, is the same everywhere and has technology to prove it's right about how things work. The supernatural is entirely unnecessary. We're social animals with especially big brains and behaviours that are generally pro-social.
