Birth control advice please

Experienced takers only! And don’t tell me to call my dr right now because I don’t have one atm. Just any helpful advice! So I stopped my birth control pills because of a mix up with my insurance that put me behind. I was barely able to get my hands on my next pack about a week ago but I think I’m just gonna take it again after my next period which should be soon. About 11 days… Will I be okay after skipping a month?
I was supposed to take my next active pills on April 2nd about 3 weeks ago so I guess technically it’s been less than a month. Maybe I should take it now ?

I have stopped and started the pill randomly and it had no bad side effects for me.

@CrystalSkull this makes me feel better to hear. I know every body is different so hopefully I should be okay. Technically I haven’t skipped a full month so I think I’ll just continue on as normal

@Sb356 I’m not a doctor but that’s been my experience. Your cycle might get a little out of synch. Just make sure to use other forms of contraception. You considered getting an implant?

@CrystalSkull I have not considered an implant just yet….and I’m not worried about pregnancy as my bf is currently out of the country so not sexually active whatsoever right now. I’m technically supposed to be on my placebo week now. Should I continue on and take my placebo pills as if nothing happened? And just keep going with the new pack as normal?
