Well one thing i can say is that you need to be 100% sure that you yourself like the guy enough to start over (not doubting you just saying). It's a big deal to go back to a former relationship but i do understand how you must be feeling rn. If you think it's worth it and can look past your past; i think you guys will be okay and try and take things slow. That's my advice. Also be prepared that your parents or friends may not be supportive, but still, if you're happy with him their opinions are irrelevant.
