I dunno; all I ever hear is how it's become nearly impossible to monetize on youtube and it's being taken on by some deep pockets as far as productions - people are throwing some intense hardware at their youtube creations. meanwhile, they're alienating both the original source content providers and the people who come to view that sort of raw, unrefined content. it might make more sense to move towards a position of making your own platform and bringing the right people along to compete with youtube and tiktoc or whatever next platform comes up.
