What should i do?

I' m really interested in joining the journalism club but i think the teachers do not want me to, none of them seem to acknowledge my writing. I really like writing but the teachers always pick our top 1 in participating in competitions and I admit that I do feel jealous. What should I do or does anyone have any recommendations for how to get rid of this terrible feeling?😟
