I'm glad to see I'm not the only one asking vague questions... depends on the situation, but usually truth leads to the greatest happiness. Not always longest lasting, though! But yeah, there's enough wiggle room depending on situation and circumstances... by which I don't mean lie, of course. But yeah, now I'll confuse even myself ;)

@lovely1213: oh yes very easy. I've been happy only to find out I was being lied to. Nothing worse. Id rather have the truth even if it hurts.
