please answer this post now!! i need advice!!!

what happens to your belongings after you pass on?

i worry about this, i have a lot of clothing, shoes and precious possessions here in my little apartment....and after i pass on i worry what will happen to it all? i wouldn't want to go anywhere or just anyone to claim it..

does anyone else get concerned about this? and what can be done, if after you die and you are worried who will get hold of your possessions?

i only have my elderly mother/father and two sisters........would my possessions go to my sisters? what can i do if i didn't want my sisters to have my belongings?....i also own some swords to, as i'm a medieval/history enthusiast.

any advice valued, i'm aged in my mid 40s now.

I'm not sure how you would not already know this, but you need to set up an appointment with an attorney who specializes in Estate Planning (Will) IF you are concerned about certain people receiving certain things from your estate upon your death you should set this up as soon as is convenient.
Then, start reading. Here's a link to Powers of Attorney and Estate Planners and their differences. https://smartasset.com/estate-planning/executor-of-estate-vs-power-of-attorney
