I’m never going to vote Republican. January 6 and the unwavering support of the base for Trump, with that Confederate flag in the Capitol building told me all I needed to know about it no longer being the “Party of Lincoln”.
Moreover, any party with a platform that doesn’t support workers, affordable healthcare or education, women’s reproductive choices, civil rights for LGBT and people of color isn’t a party I can back.
