Should I be straight up and ask?

So this guy likes me and he has been trying to impress me and try to get with me but I'm making him wait and honestly I don't seem to have interest in him. But today I accidentally saw a notification pop up from his phone and its the name of a girl with heart emojis next to it. Should I ask what the deal is or just let it go?

He is a jerk when he knows your not interested him him and he keeps asking. Maybe he needs to get it in to his head your not interested him him and move on.

You're right. She needs to make it perfectly clear to him. So far, she seems to be keeping him waiting until she's sure she's not interested. There may not be another girl. Maybe she didn't accidentally see that pop up notification. Maybe he's hoping that if she thinks someone else is interested, she will get interested.

It appears to be working. She is certainly not UNinterested.

I don't I just think that anyone deserves better than some needy idiot who keeps pursuing someone who does not want to date.
