Should I be straight up and ask?

So this guy likes me and he has been trying to impress me and try to get with me but I'm making him wait and honestly I don't seem to have interest in him. But today I accidentally saw a notification pop up from his phone and its the name of a girl with heart emojis next to it. Should I ask what the deal is or just let it go?

Since you are not giving him any reason to believe that he has a chance with you ... naturally he is going to move on. Why would you ask him about it? He can tell you are not interested.
