Should I be straight up and ask?

So this guy likes me and he has been trying to impress me and try to get with me but I'm making him wait and honestly I don't seem to have interest in him. But today I accidentally saw a notification pop up from his phone and its the name of a girl with heart emojis next to it. Should I ask what the deal is or just let it go?

@hopeespe: so continue to ignore him, if you aren't interested. I'm saying, if you're really not interested, then it doesn't matter. If you don't like him flirting with you and getting texts from another girl, just tell him straight out, "I'm not interested, stop bothering me".
