I have this ex I haven't spoken to in a long time we never really spoke on anything that happened with us. I recently found out she's single.. Should I try to have a conversation with her since we never really sorted things out? Not to get back with her but more so of understanding each other as friends and getting closure. Yes or no?

No, an ex is an ex for a reason.

Nah Bro. Ur operating from loneliness & wonder.
If it's been a "long time", then let it B. If u made the mistake, then that can amplify those feelings of curiosity. If ur sincere as 2 why u wonder, then ask why, but if u have ulterior motives.. then let her be, & wish her well🤷🏿‍♂️💯

Closure is overrated and indulgent -- you have coped just fine up until now without getting involved, don't bring up past drama. You can be friendly and cordial, but an ex is usually an ex for a reason, so it's best not to revisit the past.
