Is Britain a cesspool of disaster & disease?

I'm off to England next weekend to see a friend. But people keep telling me I shouldn't go becauae the locals are all walking about looking like that melted guy from the original robocop, if that vat of acid were covid.

Your thoughts?

The word is "cesspool" and Britain is no worse than anywhere else for disaster or disease.
@HairbrushDiva Well, excuse me for living!

@SevenTierCrazyCake It's really no worse than anywhere else. Disasters and diseases happen all over the world.
@HairbrushDiva you don't say!
