Any advice for me?

I have a job interview coming up for a department store. So far every interview I have had is a fail (no one has hired me yet). Any advice to what I should say or do?

Do a bit of research on company history.
Try and think of two or three good questions you can ask.
Examples might include...
What are the chances for promotion and advancing within the company ?
Does the company plan to expand in the near future ?
Does the company operate a pension scheme ?
Granted. All very boring. But it gives the impression you are interested in making a career with them.
Most companies like that kind of attitude.
Usual rules apply.
Work out how to get there and have an alternate plan. Just in case !
Dress for the job you WANT not the one you're applying for !
So if you want to be the CEO. Dress like it !
Always look the interviewer in the eye.
Try not to fiddle with your hands !
Always take a breath before answering. It buys you time to formulate a good answer !
Best of luck !!
Don't get discouraged. The typical job search goes like this: No, no, no, no, no, no, no,yes. You only need one yes. So don't let your confidence sag. You will get to that "yes" soon enough. Keep banging away. With each no, you are one step closer to the yes.

Dress the part, arrive a bit early. Know a bit about the store and say how much you like shopping there.

@Peaceful: Even when I'm being serious i often find the topic i'm discussing capable of joking about.

Someone once told me life is to important to be taken too seriously, and I think it was perhaps some of the best advice I ever received.

Look up the job requirements on line and find ways to identify to your potential employer that you have what it takes (i.e. Use past experiences from other jobs or internships to point out qualifications). If you think about it, you'll probably be able to figure out most of the questions they'll ask you. However, no matter how well you are prepared, chances are they'll ask you something you didn't expect. If you just remember that it might help you out. Some employers like to see you think on your feet.

You can do it. You can stack those supplies. You can work in a team. You can work no matter your insecurities. Think about it you have 2 hands. You can do it. It's a matter of just doing it. The interview has already been decided. You Will get the job. Because you can do it. Just as you are.

It doesn't hurt to do something outrageous and unexpected when the moment is right.
