Who in this world today actually believes they can give advice to people and their so called problems and actually believe they are helping others?

In my experience and the knowledge I've acquired myself from learning about the body/mind/spirit, I have a difficult time with accepting anyone else's advice but my own.

Unless one has been through the exact same experiences as another, what sound advice can you really give? Except to encourage another to 'think' for themselves.

The human psyche is very delicate and needs, in my opinion, to be handled with kid gloves! :)

Most people just want to be heard and acknowledged. Not everyone needs advice, but someone who will listen and be encouraging. People can always make suggestions or share their own experiences, but it is up to you to either embrace it or disregard it. People giving advice do not generally yell at you if you don't accept it. Sometimes all a person needs is emotional support to then realize and find the answers they have been seeking. And every once in a while, maybe your being there for someone else can be a blessing.

So very true, and I'd go as far to say that some actually seek a simple confirmation rather than any words of wisdom or instruction :)
