Black Dress or Jeans with Boots to Casino Live Music?

A couple has invited my husband and I to the Casino tonight where his friends band is playing. It's country music and I don't know because it's still a casino if I should wear a black dress or just casual jeans and boots.

So you based your decision on what your female friend was wearing? Did you ask your husband what he thought?

I made the right choice. Nobody wore a dress. It was a very casual event. Wearing the dress would have made me look out of place.
