I've bought two small shredders for my office. I can't recommend a brand, but I have two pieces of advice:
First, never feed in more pages that the maximum recommended and maybe go less to be cautious. If it jams, you will spend 10X the time you save unjamming it.
Second, check into how easy it is to clean and check online reviews. I got a crosscut shredder which does a great job of shredding paper into tiny little pieces. The problem is that when I go to empty the bin, there are dozens of little pieces hanging from the shredding blades that scatter when I remove the bin, leaving me with an annoying mess to vacuum up.

@PowerofStories Thank you so much I had one I got from my mom that lasted a long time, but that one finally died on me. The little pieces of paper is annoying though! I used to have to take the entire top off to empty it.
