So... I have anxiety and I qualify for disability but the check never goes to me. My parents always take it and it goes to bills. I feel like I'm just being taken advantage of due to this check. This month my mom said I was getting 50 out of the check but I had to give her 40 dollars back and now their uh cutting more and more of what I get. My mom tells me that my dad and older sister don't pay any rent and since my mom I pay rent with our checks since rent is cheap I guess.

The only money that's actually mine and I have control over is the money I make working. Everything else i don't seem to really benefit from. I wanted to move out for years and get a roommate but that seems impossible to do.

you are legally entitled to your check and what you do with it , so yes you are being taken advantage of , its shameful .😕
