Is SW a personal diary we write for the whole world to see?

I just don't know why people publish the stuff they do here. Is it just so billions of anonymous people see our most intimate thoughts and feelings for the EXHIBITION factor only?

Is it so we can share our cosmic angst with GOD as if that can help us or anyone?

So we can show off our immaturity and eternal NEED cause no one else responds to it?

I know most people aren't looking for lovers here but PUHLEEEEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody gets "better" here because the sharing isn't really based on anything but the disconnection itself.

I didn't say that they got "better", I said they share to feel those things, and they do often get the validation they need.. but that's not even healthy because one would be too dependent on other people's validation in order to feel good about themselves at all, but that's a different point.

I don't think it's up to any one person to dictate what this site should be used for, the liberating thing about it is that you could use it however you like, it has enough places for everyone. You may not have an audience and you may be, as it were, "invisible", but you can still continue to use it to your liking.

@Nobody37 People have a right to be dependent on one another and its a basic human trait for sure. It isn't sick-o although people are so terrified of one another these days I can see how this phony contrived paranoia can become a VIRTUE.

But the dependency motive which IS HEALTHY is twisted and it seems that all that's ever really working here is the venerated SHUT OFF button. Or the CAN'T SHUT UP button is stuck on the "on" position

If the end result is to dis-empower most people who want something more than to kill time

then people who feel the way I do should NOT BE HERE.
