Marriage Vs career

I don't know what I want
I once knew but now I don't
Someone proposed to me and he is really great he is a law student he is smart has a good heart and I care about him but I said no cause I knew very well I wanted my career more
I am still a student and I want to move to New York start my life there and try to be successful
However for some reason idk I have been bumped out
And I am starting to questions everything
I am starting to question what I wanted
Do I want a family and a calm life
Or I want to live in New York
And strive for success
Idk what seems more worth while for you

Keep in mind I can't have both because he can't move with me cause it's too complicated for him or it's either this or that

Don't see the words .. do you truly love him? If that answer is no .. you have your answer. Money and success won't really make you happy if you are in an unfulfilling relationship. Trust me on this.

You can have a career and successful life outside of NYC and it's extreme cost of living, high taxes, etc. That also makes it easier to have both a family and a career. Trust me on this too.

What does "bumped out" mean? Impacting your pursuit of your degree? How will you fix that?

Think things through .. Choose wisely.
