How did you manage to stop hating your looks and just living with and loving yourself?

No, I don't wanna discuss if I should stop hating my looks or if I have a "right" to worry about my looks.
Fact is, I sometimes hate the way I look and that keeps me from living life to the fullest. I have the impression that ppl who are not so concerned are much more relaxed and easy going. Going with the flow. How do I get there?

Well, in all honesty I still haven't the gotten over the fact that I could fit into a walrus pack pretty well. Still, I guess a good way to forget about all of it is to quickly think of anything else as soon as your mind wanders onto the topic of appearances. Most of the time, just acknowledging the fact that you look how you look and there's basically no way to change it, helps immensely, as then you'll just have to accept it and move on. Worked for me at least a couple of times.
Not giving a crap might be a pretty good thing to do, however as far as I'm concerned, I couldn't do that if my life depended on it. So, in general, just accepting the fact and moving on (whilst actively trying to fix it any way I can) is the most surefire way to do this. It's getting there that's the hard part...

Anyway, I hope this helps even a little bit. Best of luck to you!
That's some valuable input. Thanks and best wishes to you too :)

I actually think this Is what I'm trying to do too - quickly think of something else. I may have come to a breaking point because at some occasions the past months I've took a glance into a mirror and had to look back and was like; wth is that ME?? 😨🤓

So following that advice may work! :)

I also found old teenage/woman magazines during this time, and was both shocked and humored when I read them. So much bullsh**.
