Is adding moisturiser to your eye area beneficial?

A very delicate skin area,I'm 26.. I use eye serums and moisturiser from No7 day and night..does it make your skin soft, then even more delicate creating even more under eyelines?...Not exactly what I want! 😒😒😒

Dry skin ages faster, so keeping it moisturized is generally a good idea.
