Apps/sites for learning a language?

Since I live in a big city now full of foreigners, I think I should learn a new language. Problem is theres so many. You've got Hispanics here, Turkish, Arab, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Philippine, probably some African tribes, I think even some German and french.
