Why won’t my car door open from the outside only inside?
I don’t feel like spending a bunch of money to get this fixed. I feel like it’s a minor problem. I just don’t know what it is.

Just be careful of any advice claiming to know every single make model year and sub design automobile and every cause, symptom, quirk and aftermarket recall problem and best most commonly recommended longest lasting affordable and effective repair there is.
Because there's no such person place or thing. For every good mechanical expert there is there seems to be at least a considerable handful of idiots that only think they know how to fix something without breaking something else.
