Why won’t my car door open from the outside only inside?

I don’t feel like spending a bunch of money to get this fixed. I feel like it’s a minor problem. I just don’t know what it is.

It's probably just a plastic clip. Some auto salvage employees can both easily fix something like that if the car isn't too new and tell you in advance the most it will cost.

Give that a try.
