I got blocked..could it have been a language issue?

Someone I enjoyed talking to came on today, and said hello, and I asked about their day. I called them a "stirrer"..which here means someone who likes to stir up a bit of trouble, usually just im a fun way..next minute I was blocked..could that have been why? im not giving details about who the person is, they have the right to block anyone they want, I was simpy curious if maybe in America it has a different meaning

I just hadn't thought anyone would see it as something blatantly pervy..who does that? and surely a simple look into posts would reveal it's nothing untoward, much to some catfish disappointment.
