I am so proud of you. So very proud. Thank you for realizing it is hurting yourself and for loving yourself enough to do better. Please stay clear of the OH from now on. ❤️🤗

I don't often take anything. Every 'energy' substance has the same goal, get more oxygen into the bloodstream. Most things to clear your sinuses do exactly that by opening your airways with something or other

@MontanamanOh you can be addicted to nasal decongestant, my father loved his oltrivin. I think that's the spelling, but he would shoot it up his nose hourly, and it was said that decongestant caused runny noses.....

@Montanaman What we have happen and then learn after. My father definitely did not die from nasal decongestant, but he had addictive tendencies, and there is now no knowing his bac levels when he drowned. They should have been low, given his patterns, and it was just an accident brought upon by health conditions but you can be left wondering.

The best way to break the cycle is to cut down on the medication in a gradual, methodical way. Some people even taper off one nostril at a time. If you end up being just too congested to breathe, you could ask your physician for a prescription for a nasal steroid spray. The steroid sprays sometimes help with "withdrawal." However, most people successfully wean themselves from ordinary nasal sprays just by steadily and consistently decreasing the amount they use.
