I suffer from Insomnia, Anyone else have this super power?

I suffer from Insomnia, its not unusual for me to stay awake for 48 hours straight.. That would include two working days 馃樀. What has helped my fellow super beings control this?

I've had insomnia all my life.

Meditation can be a big help.

Write down whatever worries you might have, and put the list in a drawer, knowing it will be there in the morning to go back to if you want, but that you don't have to hold onto any thoughts overnight.

Never go to bed angry.

There are herbal teas which help promote sleep.
There's one called, "Sleepy Time," which has mint in it.
Any mint or chamomile tea is good. Yogi brand has one called, "Kava Stress Relief." There's "Tension Tamer," by Celestial Seasonings.

No alcohol for a couple of hours before bedtime. It might help you get to sleep, but it can wake you up in a few hours, and it can be hard to get back to sleep. Also, no caffeine or anything with alkaloids, like chocolate.

Don't use electronics for at least an hour before bedtime.
No TV. If you read, make it something boring.
