How can I send someone a gift from Amazon via email?

I really need someone to seriously answer this question...

So if I wanted to send someone a gift (an actual item, NOT a gift card) from Amazon, but I don't know their shipping address, is there a way to send it to them via email? Like for example, if they clicked on a link, they could approve on having the gift sent to their address?

Any helpful feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You can email gift cards via amazon but I do not believe you can email a gift.

@TwiddlerofThumbs although, i do think if they have the item on their own wish list, you can purchase teh item for them and it will be sent to them without you ever seeing or needing to know their address.

if they put the item on a wishlist & give you the details, you can arrange a blind send (where you dont get the shipping address). I dont know of any other way.
