What do you do when someone you cherish , a friend, leaves your life, someone that you care really deeply about, and worry about

someone that if they are not in your life, you will wonder for the rest of your life how they are, and hope they are well

I pine away....its pains me greatly.

But...I keep my memories safely in my mind and save a place in my heart that will be forever their space. And...i leave the door ajar just in case they ever come back....because i shall always be willing to welcome them back.

And sometimes...they do return.

@scorpio500 if you cherish someone....its impossible to stop caring about them...even if they are no longer in your life. I find with time, these people realise your feelings were true and valuable....and will want you to know how much you meant..and its quite likely they
Kept a small space in their hearts for you too. X
