@whowasthatmaskedman I've been writing for a while and all of a sudden it looks wrong. I worried using it sounded pretentious or that I'd made it up! 😂

@SailingSlow Depends on the circles you move in. If your circle does not split infinitives, probably.

@whowasthatmaskedman neither of those is a split infinitive, so is not a verb so it can't be split in your first example! The most famous split infinitive is " to boldy go", which should be " to go, boldly" or " boldly, to go". In the end, who cares!
