How do you stop yourself from eating sweet things?

Recently I've been craving biscuits and ice-cream, but since I'm trying to lower my body fat percentage, I can't be doing that. Hahaha What do you usually do when those cravings take hold?

I substitute by eating fruits and nuts. Not a big quantity but enough to keep me sated so that I dont binge on unhealthy sweet stuff.
