What's the best way to publish a book electronically?

My books are aimed at readers in their 20s. I would think Kindle and IPhone would be where my readers would access my books. Maybe Amazon?

At my age, the technologies are difficult but I am willing to learn and can get help if I need it.

The Kindle is Amazon. I've published one of my own and about 20 for others. It is rather easy to publish, just follow the directions and upload as long as your formatting is correct.

The real challenge is getting it noticed so that someone buys it. You have to do the marketing as Amazon doesn't.

Apple has some restrictions that will make you put out some dollars up front, where Amazon doesn't.

Don't forget the Barnes & Noble Nook. It has a format as well.

Good luck.

Thank you. I know marketing is the rough part. Haven't figured that out yet either. Advertisements and a book tour...?

Amazon for sure but I don't know how you go about submitting it to them, sorry.

Thank you...your vote counts. Amazon seems to be the popular one.

There is an app called Wattpad that allows you to publish your books.

And how would my books be accessed? How would I get paid?

@greenmountaingal: it would be put online.... I don't think you'd get paid.. The chapters would be free for anyone to read

@homeskillet-x: Thanks. But I am hoping to publicize my book and maybe make some money if I can (though I do know that isn't easy).

I'm sure there's a ton of info if you google 'amazon self publish' or maybe even kindle self publish.

Thanks. I will do that. There IS info out there--too much info! It's confusing.
