There is nothing wrong or dangerous about having a low body mass. The opposite is deadly.

It has been proven over and over again that being overweight causes many diseases and even death but being underweight causes none of those. I hate being told to gain weight and you should too. Being overweight can be very very harmful to you in so many ways. YOU DON"T NEED TO GAIN WEIGHT TO BE HEALTHY. Losing weight is always recommended and it ALWAYS restores your health. For all my guys and girls under 96 lbs, its time to own it!

Unless you’re 5’4 that may not be healthy.
@Rokasu but tall people could have faster metabolisms and a low weight for them could be natural. Shorter people who are underweight can't really help it since they don't have the same appetites as tall people.

@lightshinesthroughdarkness I’m not sure if you know how metabolisms work. Either way, being skinny isn’t necessarily a good thing. Being fit, is.
@Rokasu yeah, but being fit depends on muscle mass. People with low muscle mass cannot always help being skinny

@lightshinesthroughdarkness low muscle mass is a large risk factor for countless ailments. Just like being underweight.
