What city to you recommend moving to in the US?

Hey guys,

I'm planning to move back to the States soon.

Just wonder where you recommend living.

I never want to live down south again, I don't like extreme weather (but it's negotiable if it's cold), I need a diverse city, and there should be public transportation!

Some that I've thought of are: Denver, Seattle (TOO EXPENSIVE), Portland, Madison, and Indianapolis.

Expense is a major concern (recentish college grad)

Hopefully your cities are awesome!

@SW-User I'm sorry (?) Haha, I know some people like it, but it's sooooooo bad to me. I guess Texas or Florida aren't as bad lol

@LostNtheworld why didn't you like it?

I wouldn't wanna live in Florida.

No diversity whatsoever. It's too hot and humid. People are slightly/ openly... Well you know. It's not a good place for millennials. No job opportunities. Haha, I come from a small southern state, so I think biggers might be better, but still not worth it for me.

Trust me, I definitely do not want to live in Texas or Florida, though they might be better for me lol

@LostNtheworld how about KC?

@SW-User huuuh? Kansas City, Missouri??? That's definitely never been on my list. What do you like about KS? I hear it's cheap, but it might be too close to home for my liking.
SW-User
@LostNtheworld Missouri or Kansas either one. The divider line is State Line Rd. Missouri side is cheaper. But it's large enough that you can go or do anything there.

@SW-User Hmm, really? How interesting! Do you need a car. A major turn off for me is depending on a car. I don't like driving. I'll definitely look into KS. Thank you for your help!

@LostNtheworld idk. I've always had a car. I do know they have city busses tho.

texas or florida is too far south (almost as many idiots down there as there are up north), try mid-Atlantic east coast. The southeast is generally going to be the least expensive; weather varies greatly on elevation (frickin' cold and windy here atm @3500+ft)
