Have you ever met a Hispanic who can understand a language but they can’t speak the language fluently. But they around language all their life

Yes, my grandparents spoke Spanish but their children knew very little Spanish. I didn't grow up learning Spanish. I've had to learn on my own. I'm not fluent yet. Not sure if I ever will be.

@Mariocrespo8546 I'd need intensive practice. I know some, but I wouldn't be able to have a speaking conversation. I do okay with written Spanish.
