The easy answer is that it's more historically recent and the US has a large Jewish population.
The more complicated answer is that downplaying slavery is to the specific advantage of the social powers that continue to benefit from its legacy.
There's also been a huge spike in antisemitism recently (every time someone says George Soros take a shot) so that contributes while anti-black racism is bad and has always been bad.

@CountScrofula honestly, racism against black people has been and will probably stay for a while, but it's relatively on a low. I think anti-Semitism has been on a high for sure recently :v
